| "A
Forbidden Broadway Christmas"
AmericaJR.com
has teamed up with The Historic Gem Theatre in
Detroit to give you the chance to win a pair of
tickets to see "A Forbidden Broadway Christmas."
It begins on November 24 and runs through December
31.
In
2007, the Gem Theatre hosted a production of A
Forbidden Broadway Christmas that became one of
the Gem Theatre's record-breaking christmas shows!
We're excited to announce that the fabulous cast
that made that production such a great hit is
back and ready to do it again with classic Forbidden
Broadway and Christmas numbers and some Forbbiden
Broadway spoofs that have never been done in Detroit.
Based
on the popular Forbidden Broadway production,
Forbidden Christmas includes spoofs of Broadway's
greatest shows & performers. From The Phantom
of the Opera to The 25th Annual Putnam County
Spelling Bee, no show is immune from the comedic
parody of the Forbidden company! For the holidays,
Forbidden Christmas adds spoofs of celebrities
and holiday favorites such as Frank Sinatra, Bing
Crosby, Cher, Britney Spears, and more - all singing
your favorite holiday numbers. And don't worry
- you don't have to be a Broadway aficionado to
get the jokes. The show is top-notch quality fun,
even if you don't know the tunes!
