FREE Passes to the Oakland County Waterparks
It's
a Summer of Fun on AmericaJR.com!! We've teamed
up with Oakland County Parks to give you the chance
to enjoy the water at the Red Oaks Waterpark (in
Madison Heights) or the Waterford Oaks Waterpark
(near Pontiac).
Both
parks feature wave-action pools, giant waterslides,
and plenty of picnic space, as well as locker
rooms and food concessions. Special group rates
are available.
At
Red Oaks is "SplashTown" -- featuring
Soak Station (water playground for kids), River
Ride (tube river ride), and Spray 'n Play (spray
zone for the littlest splashers).
Waterford
Oaks sports a tropical look, complete with palm
trees and shallow-end bubbler fountains. You'll
also find The Big Bucket (water playground), Ragin'
Rapids (group raft ride) and Slidewinder body
slide.
Both
parks have lifeguards that are National Pool and
Waterpark (NPWL) trained. Both are smoke and alcohol-free
facilities. Each has clean bathhouses with lockers,
bathrooms, showers and changing areas. Both has
picnic areas with tables and barbecue grills.
Free lounge chairs and tubes (based on availability).
Both offer free parking.
The
Red Oaks Waterpark also features sun shelters.
The Waterford Oaks Waterpark also features beach
volleyball courts.
A
Learn to Swim program is offered at both waterparks
during summer months.
Hours
for both parks: 11 – 7 weekday (Mon. –
Fri.) , 10 – 7 weekend/holiday. Red Oaks
officially opens June 4th and Waterford Oaks officially
opens June 11th.
Four
lucky winners will each receive a pair of one-day
passes to either the Red Oaks or Waterford Oaks
waterpark.
