Uncle
Kracker
AmericaJR.com
has teamed up with the Emerald Theatre to give you the chance
to see Uncle Kracker at his concert on Thanksgiving Day (November
22, 2007).
Set
an extra spot at the dinner table, Detroit! You’re favorite
uncle will be home for Thanksgiving. Last year, hundreds of
Detroiters came to the Emerald Theatre to visit their Uncle
Kracker on Thanksgiving. The tradition continues this year
as Uncle Kracker returns for a special Thanksgiving night
performance. The doors for this all ages show will open at
6:30PM. Tickets are on sale now.
The
easygoing first single "Follow Me" dominated pop
radio in 2000. In 2002, Kracker released the album No
Stranger to Shame, which boasted another radio hit, a
cover of Dobie Gray's "Drift Away." After taking
a more country-soul influence for No Stranger to Shame,
Kracker performed at Kenny Chesney's show at Neyland Stadium
in 2003. He also accepted an invitation to open a portion
of Chesney's 2004 Guitars, Tiki Bars & a Whole Lotta Love
tour, and sings on the title track of Chesney's 2004 album
When the Sun Goes Down. Uncle Kracker's album 72 and
Sunny also arrived in 2004.
There
is still more to come from this Detroit native. In the meantime,
Kracker will continue the tradition and perform an intimate
holiday concert for his beloved hometown.
On
Thursday, November 22nd the doors for this all ages’
show will open at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $25.00 and on sale
now at all ticketmaster outlets.
The
Emerald Theatre is located at 31 North Walnut in downtown
