Exclusive Interview with Cody Collins, Lead Singer of country group
Lonestar
AmericaJR.com's
Jason Rzucidlo spoke one-on-one with Lonestar lead singer Cody Collins
regarding the band's new album, Party Heard Around the World.
The album will hit store shelves on April 27, 2010. It is the first
album that will feature Collins because he joined the group in 2007.
What was his first reaction when he found out he would become the
new lead singer? Find out how this new album will be different from
the group's previous records. Do they have any plans of performing
in the Detroit area in the near future? What was it like performing
at the Downtown Hoedown two years ago?
Country
group Lonestar is known for selling over 10 million albums
and having ten number one singles on the country charts and
nine Top 40 songs on the pop charts. The band will release
their 10th album, Party Heard Around the World, on
April 27. The group became popular with the hits "No
News," "Amazed," "Smile," "What
About Now" and "Tell Her." Cody Collins joined
Lonestar in 2007, so this will be the first album with him
singing the vocals after Richie McDonald left to pursue a
solo career. The group has a new record deal with Saguaro
Road Records. [3.4.10]
