Apple has a small share
of the personal computing market. When it comes to the digital music
and mp3 players, Apple is king with the largest market share in
the U.S.
Apple has introduced
a new type of iPod named "nano." It can hold up to 1,000
songs and it's width is less than a pencil. It comes with a lightweight
design and color screen. It can also hold up to 25,000 photos.
Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO
reports, "iPod nano is the biggest revolution since
the original iPod." He adds, "iPod nano
is a full-featured iPod in an impossibly small size, and it’s
going to change the rules for the entire portable music market."
The iPod nano weighs
only 1.5 onces and comes in one of two choices--the 4GB (which holds
1,000 songs) and the 2GB (which holds 500 songs). It's small enough
to even fit in your pocket while you in the car, at the gym or whatever
your doing.
It is integrated to work
with the iTunes music store where you download your music online
and then transfer them to your iPod. You just connect the USB cable
to your computer and the other end to your nano.
It features up to 14
hours battery life before it needs to be recharged. You can get
the nano in one of two colors, white or black. They come with earbud
headphones, a USB 2.0 cable and a CD with iTunes software.
You can get the 4 GB
version of the iPod nano for $249 and the 2 GB model is $199 when
you order online at The
Apple Store. They also offer free shipping and laser engraving.
Apple also offers the
iPod shuffle which doesn't have a screen in a 512 MB version for
$99 and a 1 GB verison for $129. The original iPod, which Apple
gained fame in the MP3 player industry comes in two models: the
20 GB for $299 and the 60 GB for $399. They also have a special
iPod U2 version which can hold 5,000 songs for $329. Prices are

Apple now had a full
