The S8 is expected to use the 5.0 litre FSI biturbo V10 engine, which currently powers the Audi RS6 (C6) with 427 kilowatts (581 PS; 573 bhp), and it has been reported that the new S8's engine could be tuned up to 600 hp (447 kW).
